Featuring former members of some of the region's most infamous bands such as Bone Appetit, Jackie and the Rip-Offs, Puddle Wonderful, and the First Ladies, no one really knew what to expect from the SuperTacks, including the band. But in a very short time the SuperTacks transformed themselves into one of the area's premier acts, bringing with them a high energy live show and fistfuls of powerful riffs, hooks, and screaming guitar solos. The band doesn't limit or categorize their music to any one style and continues to branch out while keeping their rock n' roll roots firmly planted. As bands go they are young, forming in the spring of 2005, but they are an experienced group with truckloads of talent between them. Their energy and passion for music on and off the stage is infectious and proves that this is not just another rock band, but one on a mission to revive rock n' roll from its long slumber. the SuperTacks released their debut album entitled "Onwards and Awkwards" in October 2006. It was recorded at their rehearsal space with their right hand man Chris "C-Dubz" Warne as the main producer/engineer. Currently, the guys have again teamed up with Dubz and are finishing up their second album which is still untitled. The have been diligently recording it since November at The Clubhouse studio. There is no solid release date as of yet but sometime in March is the current timeline. The band decided that it would give all of it's music away at no charge to it's fans, citing that they would rather give it away if it meant more people would hear it, over turning a profit.
