NEWS
Finally it's summer! Well we've been
hard at work working on new songs but as you can see we haven't
been playing much. Not to worry, that is about to change. Just keep
checking back, we promise we'll be out playing again very soon!
We had an interesting trip back from
Minneapolis when we played the Fine Line, read about it in our blog.
As is always the case, be sure to
check out the downloads
section and get a copy of the new album. We are optimistic that
we'll be able to get a music video done in the near future for this
album so we'll keep you posted. - the 'Tacks

BLOG
The show last night at The Fine Line
was good and bad. The bad part was we drove out almost the entire
crowd but the good part is we avoided certain disaster by two brave
lugnuts.
We pulled off the interstate about 40
miles south of Duluth at the Little Store in Sturgeon Lake so I could
go to the bathroom. It was closed but that didn't matter. As we drove
into the parking lot we heard what we thought was a flat tire but
turned out to be that 3 of 5 lugnuts were missing on the drivers side
front and the wheel was barely hanging on. That was one lucky piss.
It was about 2 in the morning at this
point so we called AAA to get towed home. A one-armed tow truck guy
shows up, yes he had only one arm, and jacks the van up and that's
when we saw how close we were, yikes. He tows us home and we arrive
safely in Duluth...at 4 in the morning.
All this not being enough apparently,
someone accidently locks the one-armed tow truck guy of his damn truck
when he drops us all off. Somehow he got back in, I was too tired
to pay attention how.
Oh yeah, we didn't draw well enough to get paid either so our 12 hour
trip out of town did not go as smoothly as we envisioned. That's Rock
n' Roll.
A BIG THANK YOU to those who came to
that show, to those who stuck around, to the generous bartender and
sound guy at The Fine Line, and to the very kind, one-armed, tow truck
guy. |
